About TeslaRoadsterUnveiled
Tesla unveiled its new Roadster at SpaceX’s McGregor test site in Texas on Oct 15, US local time, showing brief flight, midair maneuvering and landing using compressed-air thrusters. Musk said it was jointly developed with SpaceX, with production planned for 2028; pricing is undisclosed. First unveiled in 2017 for production in 2020, it has faced repeated delays. TSLA rose after the event. Can production stay on schedule, and how will flight features fare in practical use and regulatory review?

Tesla can fly! Highlights before the earnings report
Americans really can fly! The non-AI new Tesla Roadster accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 1 second. It is equipped with 4 thrusters developed by SpaceX at the rear. Tesla held a live launch. This time Xiaomi and Huawei really, really can't keep up. The timing of this release is also very interesting: because its earnings report will be released next week on October 21 (Wednesday after U.S. market close). Currently, there are three versions of the Roadster for sale: Performance2 and Thrust can be pre-ordered if you have the money, with pre-order prices of $50,000 and $230,000 respectively. Only the flying Rocket1 “air ready” is by invitation only, and can be pre-ordered only by invitees. The number of pre-orders for the flying Roadster is not the key point, since it might not even be road-legal, but it demonstrates Tesla's ability and imagination beyond ordinary car companies, turning sci-fi movie concepts into reality, which is what everyone truly cares about. This is also why the market has been willing to give Elon and $TSLA their market value. Moreover, this demonstration also linked Elon’s two most important companies; currently, only Tesla can build rocket cars 🚗. $SPCX Regarding next week's earnings report: the market currently expects revenue of about $27.7-27.9 billion and EPS around $0.45. Market expectations are relatively flat. Revenue pre
Tesla’s Roadster can fly. The earnings still have to land.
Tesla unveiled its redesigned Roadster at SpaceX’s McGregor test site in Texas on Oct 15, showing brief flight and midair maneuvering with compressed-air thrusters. Production is planned for 2028, so this is a reveal, not an immediate rollout.
TSLA traded higher overnight, reaching $374.74, up 3.39% from the previous close at 1:50 am ET on Oct 16. That is a dated snapshot, not a regular-session close or proof that the reveal caused the move.
The next checkpoint is Tesla’s Q3 earnings, due after the US market close on Oct 21.
The operating data is mixed:
· Vehicle deliveries came in at 486,532, about 5.3% above the 461,974 analyst consensus
· Vehicle production was 464,391, below deliveries
· Energy storage deployments reached 13.7 GWh, below the 15.9 GWh analyst consensus
These comparisons use Tesla’s Sep 29 analyst estimates, not Tesla guidance. Deliveries and deployments are operating metrics, not profitability. Prices, costs and product mix matter when results arrive.
Our earnings watchlist:
· Automotive margins: can stronger deliveries translate into better profitability?
· Cash flow: can operating cash generation support spending?
· Energy: can storage growth translate into revenue and margins?
· Robotaxi, Optimus and Roadster: what progress, timelines, spending and production requirements will management disclose?
Separately, Barclays analyst Dan Levy outlined a hypothetical all-stock SpaceX acquisition of Tesla. That is an analyst scenario, not a confirmed transaction. Product collaboration does not establish a merger.
Keep four things separate: the Roadster demo, the price move, current earnings and deal speculation. Engineering ambition still needs financial execution.
For crypto markets, Tesla is context for risk appetite, not a standalone BTC or ETH signal.
What will you watch first: margins, cash flow, or progress in new businesses?

Tesla is facing a cautiously bearish short-term setup, although a bullish reversal is possible. Shares fell on Wednesday ahead of today's Roadster demonstration, while investors are also watching interest rates and next week's earnings report.
Today's possible scenarios
Bullish scenario
If TSLA reclaims and holds above $371–$372, buyers could push toward $380, provided momentum and market sentiment improve.
Tesla Q3 deliveries 486,532 units, beat market expectations even though it dropped ~2,1% YoY. The full earnings came out on October 21.
The important question is: can this stronger delivery boost automotive gross margin and cash flow? Plus update Robotaxi & Optimus.
TSLA & xTSLA tokens are falling slightly. I think the main focus is still on margin + AI progress. If the margin improves, bullish. If not, it’s still mixed.
Do you expect beat earnings or not? 🚀

BREAKING: A Tesla–SpaceX merger could be announced before Tesla’s annual meeting in early December, per Barclays.
The most likely structure: SpaceX acquires Tesla in an all-stock deal, with Tesla shareholders getting about 0.7 SpaceX shares per Tesla share, plus a likely premium.
Barclays says Musk would own about 37% of the combined company, with roughly 56% of the voting power.
