The market thinks the Fed will PAUSE on Wednesday, but WSJ's Fed whisperer Nick Timiraos says it's much closer than Wall Street thinks.
*Why The Fed COULD HIKE:*
- Inflation is stuck - September CPI & PPI show easing has stalled
- Traders already expect a December hike
- Current rates may still not be tight enough
A hold is expected, but a hike is very much alive.
